Crazy Weekend

Good Morning,

Bobby and I are at home today so I thought I would take a few minutes to update the family webpage. Let's see what did we do this weekend. Friday we mostly just rested. Saturday we had leftover turkey and mashed potatoes for breakfast. Yum! Saturday night I started to get a fever. It turns out I probably have swine flu. The doctor said the CDC doesn't want them to test for it so I don't know for sure, but the symptoms are the same. I can't go back to school until the fever is gone for 24 hours. On the plus side, I get to be home today to hang out with Bobby while we get new floors. We have been debating whether or not to get wood floors put in the living room/dining room etc. We finally decided to go for it. We're so excited. The house is going to be so much easier to clean without the carpet. We also had to go to the vet this weekend. Penny accidentally got into the bag of Ricola cough drops here at the house and ate them whole... the whole bag wrapper and all. So we had to take her to the vet so he could give her medicine to throw them up. Thankfully she is fine now and we have learned yet again never to let our guard down when it comes to Penny and food.
