The weather was beautiful this weekend. While Riverside was scorching at 100 degrees we escaped to San Diego. We were saying how nice it was in San Diego and all of the locals said, "you must not be from here because this is not nice!". We laughed because it was in the seventies all weekend. The pictures above are from Cabrillo National Monument. It had a very nice view. If you haven't seen the news recently they were saying that six foot long Humbolt Squid were washing up on shore. Luckily, we survived the weekend without being attacked by squid. Although, it would have been neat to see one. We had a great weekend nonetheless.
